Your 24–48 hour funding checklist

The fastest funding is rarely about luck. It is about having your file ready before you apply. When underwriters get everything they need on day one, there is no back-and-forth, and qualified businesses can be funded in as little as 24–48 hours.
Use this checklist to get ready.
1. Business basics
- Legal business name and any DBA
- Business address and phone number
- EIN (Employer Identification Number)
- Business start date, so underwriters can confirm time in business
- Industry and a one-line description of what you do
2. Owner information
- Full name, home address and date of birth for each owner with 20%+ ownership
- Ownership percentage for each owner
- A valid government-issued photo ID
- A voided check from the business bank account
- A debt schedule of any open advances or loans (lender, amount, date, remaining balance)
- Ownership percentage for each owner, plus co-borrower details if anyone else is on the file
- Answers on bankruptcy and tax liens, if applicable
3. Bank statements
This is the single most important item for most products.
- Your last 6 months of business bank statements (complete PDFs, every page)
- The current month-to-date activity, if requested
- Statements for every business account that receives deposits
Tip: download statements directly from your bank as PDFs. Screenshots and edited files slow things down.
4. Details about any open positions
If you already have advances or loans:
- The funder’s name for each position
- The current balance
- The payment amount and frequency (daily, weekly or monthly)
Have several open positions? Ask about Consolidation of Positions. Falcon clients save 30%–50% on average on daily or weekly payments.
5. Product-specific documents
Depending on what you apply for, you may also need:
- Collateral & Asset Loans: an equipment quote or invoice, or details about the asset
- Invoice Factoring: an accounts receivable aging report and copies of the invoices
- Business Term Loan: recent business tax returns may be requested for larger amounts
6. Know your numbers
Underwriters will ask, so have these ready:
- Average monthly revenue over the last few months
- How much you need and what it’s for
- A rough idea of the payment you can comfortably support
Not sure what payment fits? Try our loan calculator.
7. Be reachable
Speed depends on quick answers. After you apply:
- Keep your phone nearby and check your email, including spam
- Respond to document requests the same day
- Review and sign your agreement promptly once you approve an offer
Common things that slow funding down
- Missing pages in bank statements
- Mismatched business names across documents
- Undisclosed open positions
- Waiting days to respond to a request
Avoid these and you give yourself the best chance at a fast decision.
